Periodic media, like podcasts, are a form of spaced repetition
Spaced repetition can be used as identity-building. Listening to a podcast about the same topic, every two weeks or so, is a variation of that spaced repetition.
I listen to the Focused Podcast for the ideas. But also, maybe more importantly, for the kind of people that Mike Schmitz and MacSparky are. Whenever I listen to them, I am inspired to create.
Ongoing media, like podcasts or YouTube, have this spaced-repetition-ish system built in. Books however, require that you do the work yourself.
