Reflection / Review

This book is a compendium of stories from a variety of authors. This helped me to see how all Aboriginal experiences are different while giving a unique view into the culture and challenges to grow up with. I learned about Australia’s Stolen generations more in-depth and the assimilation policies. Often the inability to get to know and celebrate identity was very painful. This was a good step in a lifetime of learning about diverse experiences and opened my eyes in some regards.
