Summary/Reflection

As any Sanderson book goes, this was a great read. But I didn’t quite enjoy it as much as the first book of the trilogy. At times, the story felt convoluted and I was lost in the details and their relevance. This could have been my fault as much as the book’s. But the plot didn’t seem so clear to me throughout the middle of the book.

The finale however, was worthwhile and the ending of the book heartbreaking. There are plenty of more mysteries to uncover and I am looking forward to the next book in the trilogy!
