Good rest takes some effort.

Passive recreation is pricey

Leisure that uses up external resources often requires less attentional resources. Other people to the work for you. You just sit back and relax. However, especially because it requires less attentional effort, it also provides less enjoyment.

That is because most leisure activities are not actually designed to make us strong. They are designed for other to make money of us.
