God gave us good physical bodies

An idea from Digital Liturgies.

God created us in an embodied state. He called this good. This can be called “good giveness”. We are fearfully and wonderfully made.

The first experience of shame in the history of the world was between Adam and Eve and their own bodies. Digital Liturgies, Page: 28

Therefore, true wisdom requires us to live within and accept our physical embodiment. Digital Liturgies, Page: 29

As embodied humans, we are shapable by our surroundings

Second, part of what it means to be an embodied human is to be responsive in body and mind to the material world. We are shapable beings whose culture, habits, and worldviews form us into particular kinds of people. Digital Liturgies, Page: 65
