Reflection/Review

A beautiful book. It tells a part of the story of Vietnam through Hương and her grandmother. It portraits the horrible toll of war and violence. Part of it is in the town of Hà Noi and it starts during bombings in 1972. The Land Reform, war and tyranny of Communism is depicted.
