MoSCoW method
- Must have
- Critical for the current deliverable to be a success. If not one is met, the deliverable is considered a failure.
- Should have
- Important, but not necessary. Might be as important as Must haves, but not as time-sensitive.
- Could have
- Desirable, but not necessary.
- Won’t have (this time)
If the delivery timeline is threatened, Should have and Could have are the first to be removed.
The MVP is all features marked as Must have.
