Directory that will be served and just stay as it is. No minification, no optimisation. It is directly available at the url.
Examples:
- robots.txt
- favicon.ico
assets/ Directory
Is processed by compilers, eg. file minification or image optimisation.
Path
- With a tilde:
~/assets/image.jpg- Or, an alias in
nuxt.config(@is common)
On every build, this gets re-built.
Examples:
- images
- stylesheets
- fonts
