After 75000 USD of family income, there are diminishing returns on happiness. In fact, for Parenting more money is harmful. Children won’t be forced to get the grit and ambition that growing up with not everything being provided brings.
What we see as an advantage often is one. Goliath was weighted down an immobile by his armour. Perfect to land the crucial shot at.
Invented U problem: money and resources make our lives better to a point. After that, they make it worse.
Desirable Disadvantages: many people with Dyslexia end up in jail, many also end up as CEOs. Overcoming that challenge makes you stronger. Not being able to read, forces you to listen.
